Managing those cars was a great fun, but a lot of work.

Now I turn my eyez towards Spring Trophy.
Here are the 16 "historicals"

Unlike Oulton Park's perennial Gold Cup race the Spring Trophy was for Formula One cars only; an initial entry of sixteen cars was received. BRM sent the same three-car team seen in Ontario - Pedro Rodríguez in the sole P160 and older P153 models for Jo Siffert and Howden Ganley. John Surtees was along in his 1971 car while Peter Gethin was in the 1970 McLaren; the newer car had been entered for Denny Hulme but was ultimately withdrawn. Lotus entered three drivers in three different models - Emerson Fittipaldi returned to the 72C, Reine Wisell took a turn in the 56B turbine car and Tony Trimmer was given a second try-out in the old 49C. The both Tyrrells meanwhile were on hand for Jackie Stewart.

Frank Williams' March 711 was still being repaired after its' American accident but he rented his 701 to (unrelated) Formula Three racer Cyd Williams. Similar cars were entered for Mike Beuttler and Alan Rollinson (loaned Siffert's private example for the meeting). Ronnie Peterson had been entered in the works 711 but failed to show while Joakim Bonnier was another no-show.
You know me... I dont like no-shows, especially when there is some slots available on the grid !

I love Montjuich. Too bad my engine blew ! I must fix this problem before Silverstone.

For Silverstone, I have 2 solutions.
- Either transform it into a pure F1 race adding each and every private non-historical I got.
- Or keep as many of these F 5000's that historically race as possible.

44 Gordon SPICE - McLaren M10B (F5000) Chevrolet V8
51 Brian REDMAN - McLaren M18 (F5000) Chevrolet V8
52 Tony DEAN - McLaren M7A (F5000) Chevrolet V8
53 Frank GARDNER - Lola T192 (F5000) Chevrolet V8
54 John MYERSCOUGH - McLaren M10B (F5000) Chevrolet V8
55 Jock RUSSELL - Lotus 70 (F5000) Ford Cosworth V8
57 Ulf NORINDER - McLaren M18 (F5000) Chevrolet V8
58 Ray ALLEN - McLaren M10B (F5000) Chevrolet V8
61 Trevor TAYLOR - Leda LT25 (F5000) Chevrolet V8
62 Jean-Pierre JAUSSAUD - McLaren M18 (F5000) Chevrolet V8
65 Mike HAILWOOD - Surtees TS8 (F5000) Chevrolet V8
66 Fred SAUNDERS - Crosslé 15F (F5000) Rover V8
69 Robert LAMPLOUGH - Lola T102 (F5000) Ford V8
71 David PROPHET - McLaren M10B (F5000) Chevrolet V8
81 Bob MILLER - Dulon LD8 (F5000) Chevrolet V8

Your opinion Luigi? How many of David Sabre F5000 are ready made? Some of them are they worth including them, or is it a lot of work for nothing really new since we already had a F1 vs F5000 race before?
Of Course, if I decide to include F5000, I can do many myself as I did for Questor GP. : as long as there is a 3d Model and a working

This International Trophy is very exciting to re-create. Let's see why.
We have "potentially" 50 cars available. In 3 catégories.

16 F1 That historicaly participated :

1 Jackie STEWART Tyrrell Racing Organisation Tyrrell 003 Ford Cosworth V8
2 Emerson FITTIPALDI Team Lotus Lotus 56B Pratt & Whitney tbn
3 Reine WISELL Team Lotus Lotus 72C Ford Cosworth V8
4 Graham HILL Motor Racing Developments Ltd Brabham BT34 Ford Cosworth V8
5 Alan ROLLINSON Team Surtees Surtees TS7 Ford Cosworth V8
6 Peter GETHIN Bruce McLaren Motor Racing McLaren M14A Ford Cosworth V8
7 Pedro RODRIGUEZ Yardley Team BRM BRM P160 BRM V12
8 Jo SIFFERT Yardley Team BRM BRM P160 BRM V12
11 Ronnie PETERSON STP March Racing Team March 711 Alfa Romeo V8

16 John SURTEES Team Surtees Surtees TS9 Ford Cosworth V8
17 Howden GANLEY Yardley Team BRM BRM P153 BRM V12
18 Mike BEUTTLER Clarke-Mordaunt-Guthrie Racing March 701 Ford Cosworth V8
21 Tim SCHENKEN Motor Racing Developments Ltd Brabham BT33 Ford Cosworth V8

19 Real F1 that Could have particpated, or Fiction characters of the story :

22 Mike BEUTTLER Clarke-Mordaunt-Guthrie Racing March 701 Ford Cosworth DFV V8 3.0 Firestone
23 Jo BONNIER Ecurie Bonnier McLaren M7C Ford Cosworth DFV V8 3.0 Goodyear
24 Pierre SHELLER Vulkan Santa-Cruz Automoviles Vulkan T3 Lancia V8 3,0 Michelin
25 Emilio BERTOLINI Vulkan Santa-Cruz Automoviles Vulkan T3 Lancia V8 3,0 Michelin
26 Derek BELL Frank Williams Racing Cars March 701 Ford Cosworth DFV V8 3.0 Firestone
27 Philippe Nicolas Team Wookey Wookey PNB 71F1 Citroën SM14 V12 3,0 Michelin
28 TBD Team Wookey Wookey PNB 71F1 Citroën SM14 V12 3,0 Michelin
31 Michel VAILLANT Ecurie Vaillante Vaillante 711 Vaillante V12 3,0 Firestone
32 Steve WARSON Ecurie Vaillante Vaillante 711 Vaillante V12 3,0 Firestone
34 Taka Katsumoto Team Malongo Colt F3000 Honda V12 3,0 Bridgestone
35 Riccardo PRIORI Bellasi Scuderia Priori Bellasi F1 71 Ford Cosworth DFV V8 3.0 Goodyear
36 Pierre Bat Ecurie St Feuillien March 701 Ford Cosworth DFV V8 3.0 Dunlop
38 Jean CHRISTOPHE La Perle de Chateauneuf du Pape Brabham BT33 Ford Cosworth DFV V8 3.0 Goodyear
41 Luigi Mennella Scuderia Centro-Sud SCS P03 Alfa Romeo V8 Pirelli
46 Hans Huslebos Honig Team Surtees Nederland Surtees TS7 Ford Cosworth DFV V8 3.0 Firestone
47 Bob Bondurant Team Shasta PZ Mk5 Ford Cosworth DFV V8 3.0 Firestone
56 Conrad McLeod Scuderia Centro-Sud Bretagne SCS P03 Alfa Romeo V8 Pirelli
70 Boris Dimitrov LSA Khadi Khadi 10 Khadi V8 3,0l Nokia
97 Dave Criblez Criblez Racing Formula 1 Team BRM P153 BRM P142 V12 3.0 Goodyear

And 15 F5000 that were really there.
44 Gordon SPICE - McLaren M10B (F5000) Chevrolet V8
51 Brian REDMAN - McLaren M18 (F5000) Chevrolet V8
52 Tony DEAN - McLaren M7A (F5000) Chevrolet V8
53 Frank GARDNER - Lola T192 (F5000) Chevrolet V8
54 John MYERSCOUGH - McLaren M10B (F5000) Chevrolet V8
55 Jock RUSSELL - Lotus 70 (F5000) Ford Cosworth V8
57 Ulf NORINDER - McLaren M18 (F5000) Chevrolet V8
58 Ray ALLEN - McLaren M10B (F5000) Chevrolet V8
61 Trevor TAYLOR - Leda LT25 (F5000) Chevrolet V8
62 Jean-Pierre JAUSSAUD - McLaren M18 (F5000) Chevrolet V8
65 Mike HAILWOOD - Surtees TS8 (F5000) Chevrolet V8
66 Fred SAUNDERS - Crosslé 15F (F5000) Rover V8
69 Robert LAMPLOUGH - Lola T102 (F5000) Ford V8
71 David PROPHET - McLaren M10B (F5000) Chevrolet V8
81 Bob MILLER - Dulon LD8 (F5000) Chevrolet V8

Solution 1
Depending on how many F5000 are available, I will first delete historical F1 that did not participate, then some fiction cars to downsize the grid to 36 cars.

Solution 2
I'll expend the entry to 52 cars, somehow, then run semi-final heats qualifying the first 13 of each to a 26 car final heat.

Problem solved ! Very Happy
