Since the beginning of 1970, the performance of Vaillante is poor, despite good times in practice. The car is good but not very reliable, which is bad for the brand sales. Rumours of abandonment of monoplaces to focus on rallye and Le Mans are insistant. Yet, there is a small team already working on 1971 prototype dubbed V711. Our journalist have been able to fins some of the sketches.

Anyway, the Cosworth were at a disavantadge at Hockenheim. V 12 engine dominated the debate in the long full power portions.
About Rindt tragedy... I do not know how I will manage. That season was a disaster from beginning to end anyway, not only in F1. Fortuinately, it was also the first one where concerns about safety began to influence really the sport, with works made on tracks and cars for more security.
Concerning the story telling, I do not want to win the championship because of Rindt's death. I've fixed myself a rule : either I'm leading the championship before Monza, or I'll "cheat" the game not to win the championship. Of course, this will not appear in the official story, I will have mechanical problems or something in order not to score points.

About German GP, I raced it with 36 cars, adding a 3rd Wookey. For Austria, I still do not know what I'll do. Here is the basis for my thoughts :

Next race to be run is Gold Cup. But I have a problem. Watch the results below. Only five F1 present, the rest is F5000.
I know a F5000 mod exists for rF, but I will not ask Luigi to converti it only for this race. So, unlesse someone did it for his own pleasure and is ready to share with me, I need another idea tio make this race fun.

I'm open to any suggestions from extending the entry list to different kinds of format for the race.

No idea, no motivation, sorry for the delay... I'll probably race Gold Cup at Oulton with only the fictionnal drivers and the 6 F1 really present... but today, I don't find this fun enough to justify the work...

what do you want me to tell you, Philippe, I have a lot interest this story,  and I'm sorry that you to stop it for lack of motivation ...
If you want I can convert the F5000 cars you need (if they are really indispensable )

It's very kind, but it is too much work for you. Someone, some day will convert DAvid Sabre F5000 and F2 mods, but this will not be you. You are much more useful in 1981 or projects like F1 55/56 I'm playing the latest days.
If anyone knows how to convert rF cars into F1C, he can already begin with adding some 1971 F5000 I'll need them around january, I think.

In any case it was not a full stop. Just a little delay to take a new breath. Maybe the real problem is I fear the moment I will have to deal with Jochen Rindt tragic fate. I still do not know how I will handle it.

I have enough fictional cars to make something decent for Gold Cup. I'll do this weekend. Then, I'll deal with sad Monza days.
