Due to the lack of results, Gulf Racing Team is sorry to annouce its withdrawal from the rest of the 1970 Formula 1 Season.

On O&R's side, there's been talk about the unreliability of the BT26A. Chris, obviously, does not want to leave Black Jack's cars behind and is trying to convince Anthony to invest in a BT33 for next year. Anthony, concerned with budget issues and impressed with the adaptability of the March 701, is going towards negotiating that car. Hopefully, a better lucky result might come up throughout the year to impress potentially interested investors. Some rumours around related to Danny's pole position in the RoC and his 5th place in the International Trophy have the friends wondering, though, if there won't be any team interested in having Danny, but the boy is determined to stay close to home, friends and family. Best wishes.

Max Mosley pushes hard to rent a 701 to O&R, as one chassis was already assembled for Bob Bondurant use at Marseille. Then Bob decided to go back to the US and the chassis sits idly at Bicester. Though it is presently silver, repainting it is a matter of hours. (translation : Send me the packed car in PM if you want winged side panels, or just send the skins : body and wings, and I can manage you a sideless car.

You can add to the story that there was a tremendous celebration in Vannes and around after my great result at Spa :-)

Zandvoort is done, next race will be French GP at Charade.

The total is 39, which is too much.

The simplest solution would be to erase 3 of the 4 non qualifiers and start with 36 cars, but IIRC, the track does not allow more then 24 cars on the grid.

I accept any story explaining your car did not make it to France.

Or I'll randomly cut some cars short either on purpose, or letting the game crash the last cars out of grid.

in reality you can racing with 36 competitors.
The track allows a starting grid up to 104 driver and 52 pit stop positions.
But 8 drivers would start  in bend...

PS: clearly updating your player (plr file) to 35 opponents...

Thanks Luigi, meanwhile I used CWG's Clermont 65 instead of Charade included in 1970 Mod. 36 cars find their place on the grid, so we will have historic starters + fictional characters abov, + a third Wookey for a French driver at his national race. Clermont 65 gives much better snapshots then Charade version.
