Lovely idea! Unfortunately there are barely any prewar cars (I would really enjoy driving them though), but I'll at least nominate:

F1
- BRM Type 15 (1951)
- ERA B-Type (From the 1950 mod)
- Connaught B Streamliner (1955)
- Honda RA271
- Scarab F1 (1960)

Openwheel exotics:

- Moskvitch G5 (1965)
- Ferrari 375 Indy (1952)

And, it would be very nice to get some non-F1 cars as well. So, from the CSGT mod:

Prototypes

- Chaparral 2F (1967) (A real beauty)
- Lola T70 Mk3
- Ferrari 330

GT's

- Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA
- Alpine A110
- Jaguar E-Type
- Shelby Cobra 427
- Porsche 356B Carrera
- Triumph TR3A (Looks better than it drives   )

And, there are even some old stock cars from the MCO mod, of which these are the best (and least unserious) looking to me:

- Ford Thunderbolt (1964)
- Sunbeam Tiger (1966)

I understand if not all these cars can be in the race, but there were just too many wonderful cars which could be so much fun to have in such a formula libre event!
