Re: About Wookey story (comments and discussion)
McLeod will rent the works Cooper he had the privilege to drive in Mexico. He puts an option on it and will buy it if it works well.

Re: About Wookey story (comments and discussion)
AMSTERDAM - November 4, 1968
Rumours have surfaced that a 38-year old Dutchman racing under the pseudonym 'George Joncker' will be present in the next Formula 1 season. The amateur driver claims to be a nobleman who just inherited multiple millions of guilders from his family. According to his own saying, he was a successful motorcycle racer on a national level in the late 1940s and early 1950s, until a horrible crash on the airport circuit of Leeuwarden severely crushed his both legs, which cut his fledgling career short. After a long period of recovery, financed by his wealthy relatives, on the premise that he would never race again. But old habits never die, and he decided to start racing touring cars 1.5 years ago. Now his bankroll is raised 'Joncker' will try to do the impossible: race in an ever-professionalizing Formula 1 as an inexperienced gentleman driver. In order to make sure that the relatives who paid for his recovery 20 years earlier do not find out his true identity, 'Joncker' will race under a pseudonym. It is yet unclear what type of car the self-proclaimed aristocrat will drive, but it is expected that it will be an aged car, seeing the budget the Dutchman says to bring on the table. Rumour has it that 'Joncker' has already contacted Philippe Nicolas to take over his old Cooper-Maserati, but this is not yet confirmed by the second party.

You mean november 67? right?
Philippe Nicolas can rent his car for a test at Jarama if Joncker is satisfied with it, the sale for 1968 can be concluded.
While you can race it as such for Jarama, you'll tell me the color of your helmet in order I do the model.
For 1968, the car will be repainted along your choice. You can send me a bmp file such as this,
or if you are not able to do it, just state the color of your choice.
(maybe orange, with tricolor stripe?)
Thanks for joining.
Re: About Wookey story (comments and discussion)
For now, the helmet will be plain white with the text 'George Joncker' on the side. This to indicate that the Jarama deal was a rushed thing. The entrant for 1968 will be officially listed as Écurie Frison. I have made a team logo, but that will not yet be on the car of course. As it is a hired drive and not yet a sale, it might be more realistic to list the entrant as 'Philippe Nicolas' or as 'Wookey', depending on whether the car is hired out by the driver or the team. For the driving skills, seeing the inexperience of the driver, his skills could be a bit lower than the average privateer, at least for the first season. I will soon work on the 1968 livery, which will be predominantly orange, but I might add some touches of other colours.
PS: Yes, I meant november 1967.

Miguel ? If you want to make Ramon participate, you provide the rationale. I could not find one. Same for McLeod, PNB.

Merci Philippe, as the season ended home, I think all the team will remain in Mexico until 1968 to tune the PZ Mk1 and be ready for the next fights.
