Re: 1960 mod by Luigi 70 (W.I.P)
Hum, starting grid looks rather problematic. Argentina has 4x3 grid start and Zandvoort has 3x2 grid start. Is this part in your plans or will the starting grids be as seen in the photos?
Regardless of it, spectacular cars!

Thanks, Cristian...for the moment I am working only on cars, ( only the Coopet T51 are 54 veh. file ) My goal is to release the mod by the end of the year, so if I have time and desire, I will also have a look at the tracks..
edit:
as you can see in Spa the spot rows are completely missing
so something sure should be done

Re: 1960 mod by Luigi 70 (W.I.P)
When I had to do the basis of all 1950-2019 race by race when I was in CMT, I had to do almost 5000 RCD files. Of all those files, only about 1000 are only from 1950-1960. Because of that data, it doesn't surprise me your big number of .veh files considering how easy was to change of team or car model/vehicle liveries in the 50s and the big amount of drivers who have been part of F1 in that era.
Sudden experienced a little of that, doing about +1000 backgrounds for each team from 1950 to 2019.
Carlos has done about +1400 HDV files in three years combining only 1988-1998 and 2017-2020.
Edge with sponsors from 1975-2003 along with Daniel.
Sergio with the pit crew suits from 1950 to 1993...
Blackboards from 1950 to 1973 where each driver's name has to be put to be visible on the starting grid...
More than 1500 commentary files were done by Jose using the original ISI's voice (from 1984 until today; 1984 was the year where team radios were used for the first time)...
The list goes on and on. What I have mentioned is not even the tip of the iceberg. My colleagues at CMT do a lot but hardly show anything for the sake of getting the best of their free time.
All of us who want to see the history of Formula 1 recreated in this game have taken our beating. But for the love of what we want to see, everything has been done. I have spent about +30.000 hours in modding+playing this sim in 14 years. Probably modders like VB, DavidMarques, Raphael... as De La Crowe told me on a message: Making a dream come true with one's own strength allows us to touch the sky with a finger and that's what I feel when I can show my renovations of cars from the past through my images.
Thank you so much for being such a great basis from the 1960 season. I enjoy seeing how a game that I love so much receives so much dedication from so many. Because of people like you, I was not capable take the step of working for an important sim-racing company one year ago. I have fulfilled my childhood dream thanks to extraordinary people who just enjoy creating mods, sharing them, and/or and having fun with them. I do not want to belong to the other side of creating so that they buy. I belong to this way of creating mods.
You're not alone.
