Re: 1960 mod by Luigi 70 (W.I.P)
I don't understand if your comment is in favor of mine. My comment was referring to mods 55 to 60. It certainly didn't want to overshadow the colossal work done by all the other modders over the years. However, to say that the 1960 mod is a "great basis" detracts from my work a lot. A base was already there (1960 not race by race mod), released by me several years ago. But no one has bothered to develop, apart from Valerio. However if you think this is the basis (in a mod where only Indianapolis cars are missing), I'm sorry but I see it precisely in the opposite way. At this point we can say that the base has already been developed in VB mod, so my little work is useless.
And while we're at it, you can also develop mods 61 and 62 that I released in the past in a light version, so I spend my time on other projects

My comment is in favor of you of course. It was a way of telling that what you did is incredible and that you are not alone in creating F1 seasons. There are many doing their best in other seasons, or in particular areas. I know the 1960 mod is done from scratch by you, so there's nothing to overshadow.
Of course, I know you are doing the 50s almost alone... but there are people doing the 80s almost alone as well. Also the 90s. Or particular aspects like driver comments, track sponsors, beta-testing (some people do +100 laps per track), track icons, fixes, and so on. But paths always cross and in one way or another we end up helping each other. I have seen this many times, past and present.
With a great basis, I wanted to say that your mod is very complete and can be improved further, which is what you are doing with that particular season. In Spain is an expression used when someone shows something that is very complete by itself. I.E.: "Codemasters' F1 2021 has a great basis built around itself so is perfect to pick up and play if you want to race the F1 2021 cars in a videogame". "The game we are developing will count with a great basis once it is finished". I have not looked down on your project. My tone certainly doesn't denote that.
As you know, I'm not good at 3D modeling, which is the main point to develop your mods and help you to go faster. What I can help is in improving the AIW files of the tracks (I need your complete work to start with this because my changes only work with the vehicles and physics I receive; If I use for example the 1965 f1 cars to improve AIW on a 1959 F1 track, with the 1959 F1 cars my improvements could not work), making the engine sounds, driver RCD files, specific GDB files, nationality flags, blackboards, historic data, SCN files to improve performance, giving advance telemetry, making the new .exe file work, icons and backgrounds (but not in F1 Seven fashion), etc.
My best ability in F1C is to synchronize physics so the AI drivers have more awareness; are more aggressive in racing, yet disciplined; do lap times akin to their real-life counterpart, doesn't crash or go off track regardless of weather and difficulty... but sadly I can only manage to do this if the physics are done by engineers who are able to understand and program how the parameters works (I usually do this only for CMT since they have engineers and a PhD. that develop physics; they count with permissions of many and they will delete what they publish if the original author is not satisfied).
If you want me to help you with some of these it will be my pleasure. But I need your trust that you send me the complete mod so I can do the correct job. I know this is not easy for you. You have suffered from leeching in the past. I will understand that you do not want to. Around here I have done my best to fight SDD leechers with my post (and other things you know), and I don't do leeching since 2007; did it accidentally because I was only 13, was my first months with the Internet and I didn't understand concepts like modding, leeching, author, 3rd party or permission.
Unfortunately, I can only give you my word and I know that it is probably not enough.

I have no problem sending you the mod in beta, you know that I trust you blindly ...
Give me time to prepare the 1960 beta version mod package
In the meantime I could include the 1960 gasoline indy mod (rfactor), as I was given permission to convert from Gilles Benoit some time ago.

The mod is in beta status (Cristian Luis is working on it , I think) ...
In the meantime, I'm trying to enter the 33 Indianapolis cars (Philippe luckily there aren't 90 )
