Re: Preparation for 1973 season of Wookey Story
The present cars can race until Spain (included) They they'll need an evolution of current model with side structures to be defined to fulfill new 1973 technical rules.wookey wrote:

Or be totally changed for another car. Feedback and ideas from the 2 pilots appreciated.
May I ask what kind of evolution should this model have for '73 ?

The rules make mandatory to have deformable side structures to protect the pilot and the gaz tanks.
Most teams answered by moving radiaotors to the side and use their boxes as these famous deformable structure. (Lotus, Tyrrell, McLaren)
Some simply added extra width to the chassis to include some room for protection (Ferrari, March...)
And some redesignated totally their cars includins a pyramid shape side tank, itself protected by a larger pyramid shape flank (Brabham)

After a long discussion with the mechanics of the team and the people who walked around it through 1972 we can finally say we are happy to be mates with Luigi Mennella… we are looking for the magnificent sponsor requested by our new team mate… decisions will be displayed as soon as possible… thank you Philippe for including as in your amazing story!

After the show, the car was fitted with additional cooler in front.

Hola Marie !
The quality of your modelling always astonishes me ! I'm sure David will confirm this !
I was thinking, if you now have 3 radiators, maybe you can get rid of the one situated in the nose? One for oil, and one for water/engine was often enough at the time and the large ones you have in the flanks could do the job, allowing for a thinner nose.
Of course, this is only a suggestion, and you can keep it as such. But in the other hand, 1973 F5000 Lola has a very distunbctive nose that could more or less inspire you.
In case you are interested, you could inspire yourself from the nose of the T330 model of the F1-Seven Mod

Or better, invent one thin and beautiful nose by yourself ! I trust you to make something very elegant in any case.
Good luck !

Tu as inventé une nouvelle Lola qu'Eric Broadley aurait aimé construire !
