Sudden wrote:I can't be grateful enough mate, this is PRICELESS. A pure piece of art. Almost all variations between 1973-2024, with a huge and high level of details throughout the years, and endless improvements in all areas. This is majestic, probably the best and most complete package in all sims. cheers

For me, it's been a pleasure to help in the humble ways I could, in therms of providing material and support sources (images, videos, etc) throughout the years, and in therms of testing. You deserve more than these little words, but thank you so much for all the patience, time and efforts, master. For me it's been a pleasure to contribute with my humble, little help... now, in the past, and I hope in the future as well hehe.

He talks about the BRUTAL improvement of Monaco that he has released yesterday. Take a look on it, I'm sure you will enjoy it a lot! If you are a lover of details, you will have a lot of fun looking for the differences and things throughout the years. It's really exciting!
You will see that one of the most noticeable differences in all variations from these 50 years, is in Portier zone... but it's just a very little point of all this package. You will find greatness in all points of the track.

Take a deep look on it! I loved it a lot, and I'm sure you will love it as well Very Happy

When it comes to get details, I suck enormously. What are the improvements?

Mega job, David! I am speechless and highly grateful for your work! wow!

In the future, any plans to correct the AIW of Kylalami 1968-1985? A great track, some issues in the pits, though. That track would be great to add to our collection.

And the Malmedy chicane to make come alive in 1970 Spa. Any plans to do these? Fantastic job! Thank you! Smile

I would limit myself to appreciate his renewed Monaco. Same message goes for FortiF1. I find natural to wanting to know what's next, but...

Keep in mind that he took too much time in developing that. Please, appreciate it.

Remember that every modder here has the top priority to enjoy themselves. Time and interests will give him to do any car or track he wants.

Thank you a million for your dedication to tracks such as Monaco and Detroit, DavidMarques. Su-perb! If you need sponsors for tracks from the 70s, 80s or 90s, don't hesitate to contact me.

Also, my fault for not improving these kind of tracks yet. Lately I have been or hospitalized, and combined that CMT people have less time. I'm also having much more social life and responsibilities in my real-life job. Alfredo and Jose left because of having a child and starting an university degree in Technologhy, respectively.

Glad to read you Cristian! I hope all is going in a good way Very Happy well, the funny thing is to discover the improvements by ourselves (specially in the graphic/visual side), but... I'll list some of them. There are sooooo many things that changed & improved comparing with the old Monaco package... so I'm sure I will forget a lot of them... but let's see. Apart from the obvious (sponsors and dynamic shadows) hehe:

Main straight:
- Different specs of Tower Control in the start/finish line (3 specs) + little building in the pit lane exit, in the 70s variations (Radio Monte Carlo) + little control buildings redesigned in Anthony Nogues exit.
- Lights in start/finish line (various specs throughout the years, type domino and modern spec).
- Light with "arrow form" alongside the pit wall. This light turns on when some car is approaching this position in the main straight. It's like a warning.
- Inverted classic pit lane in 73-88 variations with some difference alongside the years. The 70s ones have a more "retro" look, closer to what was typical in that era.
- Pit garage positions reworked.

Saint Devote:
- Fixes in the fast 73-75 corner + new 76-79 narrower Saint Devote corner (it was like this until 1980 edition, and changed in 81 due to Derek Daly's crash the previous year).

Beau Rivage:
- More detailed buildings and more accurate Chatham Rosie's bar.

Casino Square:
- Different specs and configurations of the square (at least 4 throughout the years).

Mirabeau:
- No run-off area (just a guardrail) for 73-78 variations.

Loews:
- One of the strongest points of this package. Highly redesigned. No hotel in 73 variation (just construction structures), half built hotel in 74; Full hotel from 75 onwards with minor modifications along the years.
- Metal structure/stand in some modern variations (21th century) in the right side of the hairpin.
- Some modifications in the inside part of the Loews Hairpin (different look in the 70s, high kerb between 76-96, small bus stop, and more).
- Changes in logos (Loews 75-98, MCGH 99-04, Fairmont 05-present).

Portier:
- Probably the point with more modifications of all package. Old classic/vintage bar in 73 variation, no bridge in 74, bridge from 75 onwards.
- Building in 09 under construction in the inside + building finished in 10-19 variations.
- Petit Portier/Mareterra construction progress from 2019 onwards. Changes in every single variation.
- Tunnel under construction in 73-74.

Nouvelle chicane:
- 73-85 spec moved forward.
- Yacht Hotel under construction (2012) and completed (2013 onwards).

Rascasse & Pit entry:
- Some changes in classic seasons, specially 70s. Classic surroundings, renewed stairs behind Rascasse building, and some elements being more accurate to the classic look (goodyear bus, etc).

Sponsors:
- New graphic effect in the sponsors placed in the guardrails.

General improvements in the previously existing elements + architecture optimization of the components in the .MAS files, to improve performance in PC and memory saving.

And I'm forgetting about a lot more things heheheh I apologize. Cheers mate! king

Thanks CristianLuis for your kind words, they are appreciated. Also, sorry to hear you’ve been in and out of hospitals and treatments. Hope you get better soon mate. As he mentioned, the top priority for us modders is having fun, doing projects that motivate us. Unfortunately, this motivation is not always in sync with people’s wants and desires. I don’t really like to tell people my future projects as they change every day, again, depending on motivation. What I can say, anything I do, I always share with the community for others to enjoy, not for glory or merit, but just to share my passion with others.

By the way, nice work with the summary of changes Sudden. You’ve done a better job of explaining the changes than me, hehehe. Thanks again mate. Like I said in my presentation post, there are too many changes to list, after a year and a half, it’s hard to remember what I’ve done. The only thing I can say, the 70s were a lot of work, the 80s were fun, the 90s didn’t change much except for polishing them, same for the 00s-10s, but the 20s also changed a lot. Just drive around and enjoy the details.

Hi Cristian,

Thanks for your message.

I hope you are feeling better now, and out of the hospital you have been lately.

I have been grateful and appreciative of all your work, the same applies to David and Sudden. I am just obsessed with tracks, and only three of them I am waiting for to have someday:

1994-1996 Silverstone with modified (slowed) Stowe corner
1970 Spa with an active Malmedy chicane
1968-1985 Kyalami - the one one of you guys uploaded a few months ago (the track only need pit positions to fix)

Of course, all of us have our life to live and this is at the end of the day is a hobby Smile I was just curious to know if any of these 3 are in progress or not.
