Hello David,

do you happen to get a better Vallelunga then mine? Mine is old from 2004, landscape is ugly and only 24 cars can compete.

New update to the Imola package. Updated the Ondulato Imolese logo (1986?-1987?) in the pits, Renault car logo at the pit entrance, red SKF logo at Variante Bassa and the Calzoni logo in Tamburello (1983-1984). The new package is ready in the first post.

Thanks to racefan97 for these new gems

Sudden has made changes to the CAM and CIN files, the TV cameras, for all variations of Imola. They look spectacular! I've updated the package to include them.

Hey guys. After nearly half a year of work, the 2020 track lineup is finally complete. Today I release the updated Abu Dhabi package which includes the 2020 variation and an AIW update for all versions. Updated link on the first post

A bit of news. This will be my last "modern" circuit release. I will no longer be working on new circuits (2021 onwards). It takes way too much work and the modern era is just not my passion. The 2020 track set was a real pain in the neck and, although I completed it, hated every minute of it. Instead, I plan to concentrate my efforts on classic circuits from the 80s and 90s. If those circuits were used up until 2020, they will be getting a face lift, however, nothing post 2020 will be done. As far as I'm concerned, the tracks I have released on this thread can be used for your future projects, as long as the original authors are credited.

Cheers

You did a great job! Imola is beautiful. I also definitely prefer the 80s and 90s. Contemporary F1 does not interest me. I love the 90s Very Happy

Thank you again for all your efforts David, with more reason if it's been a pain for you, due to the difficulty and lack of motivation about modern tracks. It has been, and it is a real present, a gift for all people who shares this wonderful passion.

Million thanks for everything mate.

To be honest... I would say, there are some (or few) good modern track circuits, but generally I prefer the classic ones. With no aim to devaluate these modern times... the 70s, 80s and 90s decades had something special. Some magic (apart from THE obvious champion Razz ). Awesome tracks and great-beautiful cars. In some way, that "something" it's lost now, almost completely.

Always a fan of your works. Classic era motivates more to me as well. As I did sometimes, if you need something I'll try to give a humble hand. Cheers cheers

Hello!
To be honest, it's really hard work and very tiring.
But there are some more tracks you have to do, please for that !!
Thanks
Greetings.

I understand your desire. But the answer, in the end, has been a "no" and it must be respected. I would have liked to see Abu Dhabi 2021 track layout from DavidMarques, but it's time to forget.

DavidMarques did an extraordinary job. Now is the turn for the modern season enthusiasts to handle the rest.

Maybe you could be one of them and try:

I am currently learning to model in 3D from scratch.

David. Edge, and Evangelion are trying their best with track sponsors. You should take advantage of their work to make things easier, because their effort (also RaceFan97, FortiF1, Sudden, De La Crowe, OLarrauri's contributions in this topic) is inspired by what you did with Imola. In my humble opinion, it would be a sadness not to take advantage of it.

Cheers,

Hey guys, big release today. What started off as a simple refresh turned out to be a full "remaster". Today I present to you a polished version of Adelaide with full variations from 85-95. Although the circuit did not change much, except for minor changes with the pit entry, the pit buildings changed almost every year. This was a bit of a challenge. I also noticed that my previous work was not accurate at all. Sponsors were mostly wrong in all seasons. Finally, all of the buildings were upgraded and polished. The look and feel of the circuit has changed a lot, although the base is still the same as before.

Now, with this refresh, I had to sacrifice a little performance with the upgraded building models. For those of you with slower PCs, you can still use the "old" default buildings by following these instructions:

1) Open desired 19XX_Adelaide.SCN file with Notepad
2) Add a new line before MASFile=AdelaideMap.mas
3) Add the following text in that new line: MASFile=AdelaideOLD.mas
4) Save and exit

Have fun guys!
