Here's a pic of René Arnoux in Brazil, ahead of the second group, followed closely by Pironi, Andretti, De Angelis, Watson, Giacomelli and me (as Theodore's Patrick Tambay).



This is the group you wouldn't expect suprises back then, while Piquet, Reutemann, Jones, Prost, Villeneuve, and Laffite lead the pack.

Sorry for taking so long to send you news, my friends.

We're in final adjustments stages.
I'm beta testing everything personally, continuously running small races with each team in order to make sure graphics look nice in game and such. Time is still an issue these days, but I believe I can safely tell you the mod will have been released by late August, early September tops, maybe even before that.
All the graphic part is done, I'm only checking for internal inconsistencies, issues in the physics files and things like these.

As usual, I might release some pictures on the go, in order to try to get your interest for just a little longer.

I think it's the first time that I read about a release date, it's a very good signal that this is about to come very soon.

Please don't think of it as a 'release date'. I would feel dishonest if we could not deliver.  
Think of it as a 'we're so close to finishing I believe it will be over by then'.

As it has already happened before, it is my policy not to raise false hopes.
If we feel like something else is needed and we don't have the time to do it till that date, it would be sad to hear a 'But you said late August. How come this ain't done yet?'.

It is definitely my hope (and a 'hope with support' this time - as we have the full mod in our hands now just needing minor adjustments) to have this mod done in less than two months.
