Re: F1 Cars that never raced in world championship & post-1945 GP rarities
same car
My attempt at translation :
Although stopping F1 program in 1973, the staff had been kept. To avoid rusting itself, Bernard Boyer team continued to work on a grand prix monoplace and at the end of 1974, the rough lines of the Matra project had been defined.
It had long, narrow radiators, had a narrow nose, was built on a long wheelbase and wide tracks. For petre quickly operational, the front suspension remained classic with brakes in the wheels, springs in the hull and rockers. The rear axle was derived from that of the MS670. The gearbox was a Hewland TL200.
The projects were designed and models made for the wind tunnel, but no rolling car was built. On December 10, 1974, JL Lagardère declared "we have a small debt to the French public, it would be to bring a French engine, with a French driver to the victory in a race of F1.
He will leave it to another chassis manufacturer to bring this engine to victory. (Ligier)

Some articles i recently released on UnracedF1 i think you guys will like it.
1993 Brabham Galmer, the failed attempt to revive Brabham
1993 Jean Todt’s dream a Peugeot F1 Team
Premier 1 Grand Prix; motor sport meets football
Manor MRT07
Ikuzawa; the team that became Stewart Grand Prix
Currently im working on several articles, probably the best article will be the one about the Unraced Minardi M3085 F3000 car (Addapted F2) with the help of Gian Carlo Minardi himself.
Im working on part 2 of the Lotus unraced history have to contact several people for it.
And i will do a last attempt the comming weeks to call Charles Nickerson to complete the Phoenix F1 story, and have all the information for once on the table. How ever if he refuses again. I will make a story of the info i have.

Translation :
I contacted my friend Roland Roy about MATRA MS X in 1975 He was in charge of the proto bodies in 73 and 74 and is one of the elders of the development studio. The 3/4 drawings it was he who realized it by taking again the shapes that worked on the protos, notably the front cover dug + bump, The studio worked on the MODEL YOU KNOW, similarity with the SHADOW see for the installation of the V12, according to R.ROY the studio worked on this project notably G.DUCAROUGE AND CARILLO draftsman and also B. BOYER but presumably not on order Of JL LAGARDERE who knew already that the end was near. Then at the end of 74 DUCAROUGE, CARILLO and others went to LIGIER with a new aerodynamician to create the JS 5, however many parts of the "670" were used for it. If pilot there had been certainly the elected would have been JP Beltoise.
