Happy new Year to you aswell. I'm sorry for you, because you lost your files. I know how it feels like, because this happened two times in 3 years for me. It's great that you are back again and i hope you could solved some things

Good News 
I was able to recover most part of work from Watkins Glen 1976 and 1977. Glad to make a some kind of "backup", just matter to made some retooling and converting to .bmp using Format Factory and voilá !
By the way. I´m still getting used to my new laptop (it´s smaller than the former one however is very fast) so i felt like this

If I remember correctly, every laptop PC has a connection for using an external monitor. So if it's possible I think using a larger monitor makes it easier to use a small, fast PC

Yup. In my office i have a old 14'' Panasonic TV. I would have to get a VGA/RGB converter. At home i have a larger TV that i connect with a HDMI adapter but you know, i´m more at work that at home
