REQ: Fixing F1C conversion of "SHANGHAI STREET CIRCUIT"

Dear friends,

I've converted from GTR2 the SHANGHAI STREET CIRCUIT S2U to F1 Challenge 99-02:

But I can't load this track and I don't know where is a problem.
Could someone skilly check it and fix it, please?

On my windows XP PC it loads only 1% and closes; no useful information.

Try loading ONLY the 3d roads and pitroads (download SublimeText, learn to work with it and edit your SCN file). Check also the size of all the textures of the track, as well as the AIW file.

If the track loads successfully, little by little, add more and more objects, until you spot where is the issue; which 3D Object causes the crash. A lot of trial and error, approximately more than one-hundred attempts.

Hi lee I think first is check all material names or long .bmp or .tga files

Hi Teji,
the problem isn't in the texture names because I reduced the long names yet.

Thanks for your response, Cristian Luis. I've deleted cca. 1/3 of all the objects and the track can't load. I can't check the AIW file 'cos I don't know how to fix it.

I can try some days to go shocking news my pc hardisk damage 708 gb f1c data lost my friend trying repair hardisk all about 1500 gb data i can wait till first week of june

Finally fixed! Available between F1 CHALLENGE TRACKS 2022.
(Some materials name was too long and I shorten them.)
