Since I was on top of my game, modding-wise, when Daniel and I finished 1981, I decided to plunge ahead with 1980 and make amends for releasing some time ago a hasty conversion of PedroRippingCorpse's 1980 carset for gp4. All parts of the cars are separated now, for one thing; I have also made all the physical models and graphics as accurate as possible for each race. To paraphrase old Chrysler ads in the U.S., I "sweated the details." There are four files to download:

The 1980 tracks that were used in both '80 and 1981 have my edits for '81; watching races to test everything, I noticed that the adverts were pretty much the same at tracks such as Imola and Osterreichring.

These cars are completely different from what exists for '79.
