I'd like to know if MOD 1983 C&D exists for F1C and where to retrieve it

De Lacrowe, there is 1983 mod at Race4Sim. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post any external links, but you can find mod under "Premium mods" section.

The forum you mentioned does not have the version I'm looking for, the exact version is called mod 1983 C & D made for F1C.

De Lacrowe, there are a lot of YouTube videos with "mod C & D 1983" but all of them are related to F1 1983 by David Marques in fact. "C & D" means "Cherry & David Marques", co-authors of several mods. So it's the same mod) But maybe you mean a totally different mod that I don't know about.

I found the material I wanted, and after various scaling between the chassis and the tires, I got a pretty model to leave on the shelf in my room. Too bad that it's virtual ...

I use multiple software at the same time to get the most out of it, and starting from a .gp4 file uploaded with the proven Zmodeler 1 you get to get a .gmt car with Zmodeler 2.
The car should be resized to get the correct shape, while for the tires I had to make a mixed resizing
, and using 3DSimEd software, test the car for further details including shadows and reflections on the car.

When you open the executable file, some settings are executed in the background that you do not understand where it affects ... but is this all dangerous?

It just affects to the dictionary file. Seems that C&D mods uses its own game.dic for each mod.
