F1C 1996 Season from GP4?

Hello everyone! This is my first time posting here (I usually use to read all the news, specially of fantastic works and mods) but I have one question.
I was wondering if does somebody knows anything about F1C 1996. I mean... 1996 season from gp4 seems to have a better carset than the current F1c 1996, and some time ago I read that someone was about to convert the mod from gp4 to F1C.
Does somebody know anything about this? (If it will be a new 1996, converted from gp4 or if someone is thinking about it or not).

DavidMarques in working in one 1996 mod which uses the GP4 carset. You can find the proof here.

Yes, davidmarques is working on, but he had a problem with the shadows of the cars, I don't know if he manages to solve it because He was trying to find help from other modders because of these shadows' problem two months ago. Maybe one of the modders on this forum will be able to help him I don't know anyway if someone is interesting to help him, he posted a message here:

A new 1996 mod for F1 Challenge has been released.

Someone must upload a new link for it, because earlier or later, this mod could dissapear.

Great news!!! The wait has been worth it, that mod is awesome! Very nice carset and race by race, this is a very good gift. Thank you very much to all involved in this 1996 mod, the final "output" is very very good. I'm looking forward for the new 1981 mod, or other projects, always awesome.
