Next Week (beginning the 9 of october 2016) I'm going with my lady and her mother to the region of Pisa, where my late father-in-law was born in a small village.
As I know many Italian friends are in this forum, I accept all advices about hotels, restaurants and visits, besides the well known Pisa tower.
we can drive some miles, but will sleep near Pisa.
Sorry for friends in Roma and Napoli. Not this time, but sure we will visit you someday. We'd really love to come back there too. As I'm already 55 myself, you can imagine my mother in law will not be young enough to be keen on long road trips, but next time we will come only my lady and me.
I still dont know if I'll had my computer with me. Probably not, but I trust the moderation team to keep things good while I'm away.

I worked about a year in Livorno, near Pisa and nice to visit, as Viareggio too, and if you can ...visit the marvellous Florence...
