Hi, it's Zandvoort, not Pau.
The nose cone used in Pau was more squared, less aerodynamic and its sides were black and you will not find any place on the Pau race course with a white paint line on the asphalt (other than the regular traffic lines). The kerbs and sometimes the gutter are painted white but there are no side lines.

thanks and welcome. Merci et bienvenue !
En effet, nous avons une photo clairement à Pau avec un nez différent.

Re: Formula 2 from 1980
You're Welcome Wookey.
If I remember well (what I read later, I was only ten years old in 1980), the JH17, AGS first wing car, had terrible aerodynamics. They tried several cures and even used the old JH15 at Enna where it worked better than the JH17.
At Pau, the car was in it's initial aerodynamic configuration, (I Remember its look : I was at the race with my father and had a picture of it under the rain in the "Côte Poeymirau" for almost then year in my bedroom).
I don't know exactly when the modified nose cone was first used.
