Titterington 1956

How differences between Brooke and Titterington?
I thought it was Brooks in practice due to car number format.
I have pictures of Brooks and the number is surrounded by a white circle, like this:

On the other hand, also I have this photo, poor quality by the way, next to Schell's Maserati and rear number does not seem to have that white circle.
