Re: Coronavirus
Lombardy is among the regions most affected by this infection, hospitals receive people affected or suspected of being infected with this virus every day. Italian healthcare does not cover Italy in an optimal way and the greatest danger falls to the southern regions due to limited equipment and medical resources. I am a Lombard woman since birth, and I have never wanted to live in other more beautiful and prestigious areas of my city because I have too many memories and people who bind me to my Lombardy. I visited some regions during my youth and I learned with taste some traditions that deviate enough from my city as Torre del Greco of which I have a good recent memory.
Current life is completely limited but this is a global problem that I can observe by following the news on television. Staying in my country I can say that people listen to the rules and try to leave the house out of necessity because life is in danger at any age and health situation. I take better care of my health but among the members of the family it is also necessary to go out for very important medical visits, for this reason I try to protect the possible infection by using the advice they spread on television and on the web. I don't think there is a nation that will remain unscathed for this virus so I don't have the desire to escape abroad but I hope that this way of life will not remain permanent.

Re: Coronavirus
By now leaving the house appears a gesture almost escaped from prison with the police service and other law enforcement officers who go through the streets of the city in search of victims to be hit with fines that go up to the prison and the kidnapping of the car. Life has worsened in recent weeks, there is no longer any reference to the lifestyle I led two months ago, and considering that it is not known yet when all this will end life appears even more gloomy and sad.
The situation beyond my country is not better, certainly some nations do not want to tackle the decision to apply the closed nation state, I don't know if they are doing well or are not convinced of the seriousness of the problem. I don't feel calm enough to make a rainbow to hang it on my window, not even to tell everyone that everything will be fine, by my nature I don't feel comfortable imitating other people even singing on the balcony of your home. This situation is too bad to act like others do.
good luck Mr. Robert

Re: Coronavirus
Nice to hear that you are well, Marie. Life in Germany is also restricted further every day. I hope this crisis will soon be over and we can then slowly resume our normal life.
But the news from Britain is also worrying me. I hope you're well prepared for what's to come, Rob.
Does anyone actually have contact with Philipe (wookey)? I hope he's fine, he hasn't been here for a long time.
Keep calm and drink tea and stay all healthy
Rolf

Re: Coronavirus
I am OK, thanks Rolf (and others).
The restrictions in the UK are tough, but understandable.
We just need to take care and not take silly risks.
