4shared works fine, just have an account for download.
The Kaps' circuits work well, only the 1982 is missing one file (bboard13.mts) and it creates a CTD.
So, for 1981 versione we can use the 1983.

Re: Jacarepaguá 1981
I now managed to download both versions, Lee67's and Kaps's. Tiny upload did the trick, thanks. Thanks for the hint, as usual, Luigi.
All the best to you guys.

Re: Jacarepaguá 1981
Hi, everyone. This is to thank you guys for the tracks. They worked great and are much better than the one I got (mine had flat rumble strips and nothing happened when you went over them). I haven't tested them on a full grid yet, but will do so soon. I gather both come from the same source, with a single 1988_Jacarepagua.mas to load. Is it the Carrera4's version?
Best wishes.

Re: Jacarepaguá 1981
I'm sorry, mate, but I don't know. I taken these tracks from David Marques' F1 1982 to 1985 mods from Race4Sim.d4nf1c wrote:...with a single 1988_Jacarepagua.mas to load. Is it the Carrera4's version?

Re: Jacarepaguá 1981
Hi guys,
In the David Marques mod of Race4Sim there is the track of Jacarepaguá, track made by Carrera.4. This track has an error in the entrance of the boxes (the cars do not make the curve and they beat.) This happens because the curve is very closed. I made a change in this curve making it more open. With this little modification I have decreased the amount of cars that break. I think I managed to solve the problem, not 100%, but a good amount.
I do not know yet why some cars can not brake and make the curve, even if it's a bit more open. Anybody know?
Thanks

Jacarepagua Track - About the error in the pit entrance
After observing this error for some time I decided to try a test with this track by placing it on the F1C Original. I saw that all AIs entered the pits correctly, without crashing and making the correct layout. Then I realized that the error it was not, or is not in the AIW of the track, but in the physics of the AIs.
I tried to get a mod that has this circuit and made a modification in the HDV´s of the cars, putting all the parameters the same as the Original F1C. Except for two, which I left as were [ENGINE] and [DRIVELINE]. I did the test and the AIs passed to enter the pit correctly without knocking (see screens).
The question is: What part of the physics (parameters in the HDV file - [GENERAL], [REARWING], etc ...) is the error?
Which parameter determines this braking that makes it possible to enter the pit correctly?
thanks
