F1C 1979 Race-by-Race Mod--Done Right

There's a link to a new team.mas for the McLaren M28 in the first post. The Tambay helmet .mts somehow got corrupted; I don't know how I didn't detect it until now since it caused the game to crash when leaving a race, and I did do a lot of testing. Believe me, it took a long time to narrow down what the problem was!

I've added yet another link in the first post, to new .gen files with increased LOD values for the suspension and .va shadow, so they'll stop coming and going. The file is at http://www.mediafire.com/file/ob62tpiyj5vz8ve/1979_new_.gen_files.7z/file

Neiln first of all, a big thank you!!! for all this great job! I was wondeing if you have plans to redo the 1982 mod to a similar level? By example some suspensions are not aligned to the wheels. Thanks again!!!

Which cars have the misalignment? I have started on improving 1982, and I found that when I did larger LOD values for the McLaren suspension--the first post now has a file with the same edit for all of 1979--that it fixed a problem with the front suspension's alignment in the suspension covers. Go figure.

Alfa Romeo / Arrows / ATS / Brabham / Ligier / Lotus / Mclaren / Renault / Williams, all have front wheels that looks to tall in game, (not in menu) also the wheels aren´t the same within the models.

You've got to post screenshots (and mark them up to indicate the problem); I watched a race and had no idea what you're talking about. I'm glad you like the update.

What will be your next project?

I'm working on improving 1982. It's been slow-going--I've finished McLaren but have been bogged down lately with Alfa Romeo--so I may start uploading each team as it's finished rather than disappearing for months.
