Thanks for the name of the driver. Now I was able to find the FB-post with the picture. Dowsett was there for the Atlantic Round at Mallory on the same day as the Aurora Race (Round 11), but did not enter the Aurora Race.

Here is the text from the FB post

From my time helping run Phil Dowsett in Atlantic in the ex Alex Ribero Jesus Saves 782. It was a televised Aurora round at Mallory Park. The Goodyear tyre guy who was French came round and insisted all cars had to run their sticker, despite our best efforts to stop him he ignored us. Phil returned to find his car stickered up and was not best pleased. It began to boil as he was running race by race at that time and companies were paying to put their name on the car yet this guy had put the sticker on, we didn't get free tyres. I think he though we were an F2 runner in Aurora.
Its good to see the legendary ICS transit in the background, it had a blueprinted 3 ltr Capri race engine in it from their production saloon, we could overtake anything when towing and got many a look, used to cook front drums though!
