1977 and 1978 Lotus 78
I havebuilt two Tamiya 1/20 scale Lotus 78
As usual I couldn't build them out of the box. I had to modify them.
The #5 car of Mario Andretti is how it appeared in its first race in Argentina 1977. I had to modify the side pods and air scoop
and the #6 car of Ronnie Peterson is the victorious car from South Africa 1978. I used a Transkit with a Getrag gearbox and new endplates for the wings on this.
