Alfonso García de Vinuesa (Madrid, 1958-1997). First season in F3 with Eddie Jordan Racing in 1984. One of the most promising drivers in the 1987 F3000 grid until he crashed with his fellow countryman, Luis Perez Sala, in Spa, third round of the championship, at Eau Rouge, sustainig severe head injuries after being 25 minutes trapped in his car. He never fully recovered his magic at the weel.
A. G. Vinuesa with team boss Richard Dennis at Jarama (1984?). Pole position in this debut, if my recollenctions are good.
