Re: Formula 1 pictures of 2016
AUSTRIAN GP 2016 WINNER - UOTSIDE THE RULES?
Today Hamilton won Austrian GP when he overtook Rosberg outside the pit.
As I know this is not according the rules - if the driver overtakes the other driver outside the pit he has to give him back the position. If he doesn't do it he must be penalized.
Could anybody explain why Hamilton was not penalized?

He drives a Mercedes... a Sauber would have had a drive through penalty or been disqualified.ondro wrote:AUSTRIAN GP 2016 WINNER - UOTSIDE THE RULES?

Re: Formula 1 pictures of 2016
But WHY nobody did complaint? For example Red Bull? Did race control team make his job thoroughly?
After penalty Vestappen would be the winner...
It is not the question of favour or hate, it is the question of rules. Why they are not applied equal to all?
I don't like these new stupid rules as "changing the trace only one times" or rating and finding the culprit for every race incident, all that makes racing sterile.
BUT if the rules exist, they have to be used to all including world champions...

What a stupid donkeys were today in Malaysia as track commissars?
Vettel's incident was simple race incident without offender but they said "Vettel is quilty"!
The only nice overtaking maneuver in the whole race (Rosberg vs. Verstappen) was judged by them as "causing collision" and punished by them with 10 seconds penalty...
Real idiots!
Formula one is fighting with boredom, the only exciting moments come at the start and by overtaking. and they punish pilots for doing it!
I watch F1 circus from 1973 but I think this is my last season...

Hi!! I agree with you about today, I do not really understand why punish Rosberg for his overtake to Raikkonen... I really don't understand it... except it, in my opinion, this is the most interesting year since some years...
Furthermore I ve founded on the net these pics from Canada (Uploaded in Race by Race)

Stupid donkeys (track commissars) again in action in Mexico!!!
1/ Start - Hamilton out of the track and wins at least 100 m - no reaction from commissars side! Verstappen pushed Rosberg out of the track - no reaction. This young mad man brakes too late in the 1st corer after start again and again and produces dangerous situations and nobody warns him not to do it!
2/ Lap 21 - team management - Verstappen left Ricciardo go after radio signalisation with stupid "coded" message - no reaction!
3/ Verstappen is again too late on brakes trying to overtake Rosberg and blocks Sainz who lost the position in combat with Alonso thanks that stupid manouver - no reaction!
4/ Lap 68 - Verstappen again too late on brakes during Vettel's overtaking manouver - drives outside the track and wins 100 m - no reaction again!
5/ Verstappen drives zig-zag throught the trace to make Vettel slow and give Ricciardo advance - no reaction!
6/ Next corner Ricciardo uses that advantage and tries to overtake Vettel. Vettel drives defending trace and in fair duel (first in the corner = he has right to choose the trace) holds his position - reaction: According to the stewards report telemetry and video evidence showed that Vettel did change direction under braking for Turn 4 and that “this was considered to be potentially dangerous in view of the proximity of the wheels of each car.”
THEY KILL THE SPIRIT OF FORMULA ONE RACING!!!
