Yes, there are differences, he also has stickers that he did not have in the GP. I from F5000 do not know anything. Maybe someone can help us.

The results show the car had #69 during the Formula A events of 1968. Could be at one of those.

What always baffled me about this pic is why he is carrying the chequered flag. It's certainly not because he won a race. Now I know Al hung on to the car quite some time so it could be much later during some kind of historic event or maybe his goodbye race, making a lap of honour. Al does look a bit older on the pic than during his racing days.

But this roll-bar was used before the Canadian Grand Prix '69.

Yes that very much looks like Mosport indeed. In that case it could be the Mosport Continental on the 25th of August 1968 where he drove the Eagle under #69. Retired after 1 lap with a clutch problem. Still leaves me without a clue on the chequered flag and I have this pic..... (of which I have no clue either where it is, but does not look like Mosport)
