Mappers Wanted: 1984 March 84C Indy Car

Hey guys,

Looking for people interested in taking a model of the 1984 March 84C indy car and mapping the body with liveries from that season.  The objective is to have a semi-decent 1984 Indy 500 mod for F1C.  If anyone is interested shoot me a pm.

is the model already done? and how easy are the liveries? It all dpends, I'm not a very good mapper but I can help if the main areas to put sponsors are reasonably flat

Took me long enough to figure this out but here is a screen shot and the rar.  A lot of the bmps used is just to add some "color" and perspective to the model.

Ok Carlson1984,
as I said in PM (even if the project does not interest me much) I decided to give you a hand ...
As I had told you, I'm mapping the basic model (with the new wccarbody) and I am doing the livery template ...

The rest you'll have fun doing it...

That looks amazing. Many thanks on taking a look at this. This is the first time i've tried to work on a vehicle since working with Neiln1 some years ago. However back then I was more focused on physics and body design. BTW, I have the physics ready to go and will make sure to pass those along asap. Molto Grazie.

if you told me before that you was a friend of Neiln1, everything was more simpler ...  
anyway I also mapped the front wing and the three versions of the rear wing that you sent me...

after I want to map the rims too (with new texture), anyway the work you've done is ok...

Yah Neiln1 and I go way back on the 1981 and 1983 F1 mods. Really great work!!!! There is no way I could have done that. I have a lot to learn.

I made the new rims in 3d, so I would improve some details of the livery and and replace the cockpit...
