In these 6 photos the car is a Ferrari 1512 model that did not officially debuted until the US GP of 1964. In the photos where the driver is Bandini clearly are from 1965.Wookey wrote:Ensoleillé

However, I have a slight doubt about what Surtees is driving because in Monza-64 he used the number 2 and in 1965 the number he used was 8.
On the other hand, in the race of Monza-65 no one used the Nº2 but there is information that John tried in practices a 1512 with the Nº2.
Here the link: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
My question is: Does anyone have information that in Monza-64 Surtees I have tried out a 1512 practice with No. 2?
If nobody has that information, I would be inclined to think that all the photos are from 1965.
Opinions?

In my opinion this is not the Lotus 25 by Chris Amon, who did not really appear in the GP.Wookey wrote:Ensoleillé

Maybe it's Geki's De Sanctis F3.

These 2 photos are from 1964 (4 others - 1965, you're right):Rodo115 wrote:In these 6 photos the car is a Ferrari 1512 model that did not officially debuted until the US GP of 1964. In the photos where the driver is Bandini clearly are from 1965.

Look at the engine cover and position of the number on the side of the car - in 1965 these details are different. And look at the engine - for example, only six electric cables in 1964.Wookey wrote:[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Thunder:
Are you sure those photos are from Monza-64?
Because then the 12 cylinder engine was tested in GP practices.
Do you have any information on that?
On the other hand, I still think they are from 1965 because Forghieri usually tested several engine and chassis configurations, so I'm not surprised by the differences with the car that participated in the race.
