Good picture, Vasko, but Anderson had a Lola #22, and this is a Cooper and with #2, surely André Wicky on his Cooper T53[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Re: Formula 1 pictures of 1963
Roma 1963 - What an interesting field of backmarkers. Six De Tomaso raced! I didn't know he built so many.
A few additional screenshots from a great 1minute video:
Bordeu, Zanarotti, Lippi, Campello and Anderson-Beaufort-Raby, the three top finishers

The race is significant for me because it was the only F1 participation of Argentine racers between the Argentina GP of 1960 and 1971.
The two Argentine racers, Estefano and Bordeu were very unlucky.
- Estefano waited all of 1962 and most of 1963 for De Tomaso to make the 801 race-worthy and all he was able to race in almost two years was one lap in this Roma GP.
- Bordeu, after great success in Formula Junior in 1959 and 1960 was entered for the 1961 French GP by the UDT Laystall team but had a big accident testing at Goodwood the week before the race. And that was it, until Lole arrived ...
