First color pic for me Cool

Yes but strange pic for me ...The driver seems to be in a t-shirt and without a helmet with sunglasses. I'm wrong or my eyesight is falling? Laughing

This photo is on page John Hendy and obviously it is not a Lotus 18. In my opinion it is a Cooper T51 or T45 (not T53) because it has the back of the cockpit with round shape.
In that race, the T51 of the Scuderia Centro Sud had engine Maserati and exhaust on the right.
I think it's the Tony Marsh's Cooper T45.
What is your opinion?

What if this isn't the 1961 British Grand Prix at all? It reminds me of C.T. Atkins / High Efficiency Motors' 1960 Cooper T51 (light greenish paint, thin cream stripes on the bonnet (visible on this picture), cream wheels. But the Atkins car had its exhaust on the right too...

A (minor) clue is the windscreen which has been cut out to remove its side panels.

I just noticed UDT-Laystall's Lotus 18 T-car in the background. This is quite interesting for this is this training car that Bordeu is supposed to have driven.

I do not have Bordeu driving the team Lotus 18/21 no.28 in practice as indicated in our race-by-race, although there is nothing impossible. On the other hand, Henry Taylor has driven Bianchi's no.28 on Wesnesday's training session. Additionally, Stirling Moss has tried one of the two Lotus 18/21, although I do not know if this was no.28 or 30.

I've just squeezed two color films of the Italian Grand Prix down to the last drop; quality may range from poor to even worse than this, but some of the competitors are not so often depicted so here is a selection:

22 - Masten Gregory, Lotus 18/21:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

26 - Tony Brooks, BRM P48/57:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

48 - Maurice Trintignant, Cooper T51-Maserati (my guess, please correct me if I'm wrong):
[Correction: rather 58 - Massimo Natili, Cooper T51-Maserati, see discussion below.]

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

50 - Nino Vaccarella, de Tomaso:

54 - Roberto Bussinello, de Tomaso:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

62 - Lorenzo Bandini, Cooper T53-Maserati (passing de Beaufort's Porsche):

72 - Gaetano Starabba, Lotus 18-Maserati:

Thank you Lorenzo, most pics are the first glimpse of color for me (even Hill in front of Vaccarella is a rare one)

As for the T51, the other possibility I could think of would be Natili, but we can't be sure
