Notes on the cars:
.March 75B [11] (Vittorio Brambilla): A black March 75B sold to Doug Shierson Racing for Jon Woodner in the Canadian series. Raced by Woodner, Marty Loft, Richard Melville and Vittorio Brambilla in 1975 as a Shierson entry.
.March 75B [5?] (Bertil Roos): A car raced by Bertil Roos for Ecurie Canada. Ecurie Canada took delivery of two cars according to March records, a yellow 75B-5 and a white 75B-10, and had two drivers, Roos who raced a yellow 75B and Craig Hill who raced a white one. On that basis, Roos's car would be 75B-5.
.Chevron B27 [27-74-02] (Tom Bagley): Chevron build record says sold via Opert to Freeman Racing but retained by Opert in 1974 and used by Jean-Pierre Jaussaud at Trois Rivieres and Richard Melville at Watkins Glen. For sale Autoweek (AW) 5 Jul 1975 p25 by Opert "2 races from new". Opert team again in 1975 and used twice by Tom Bagley at Halifax and Trois Rivieres, where his car is described as 'ex Jaussaud'. Believed to be Michael Landrum's B27 in early 1976 in the IMSA series. Then advertised by Pierre Phillips Autoweek 31 July 76 p28 'ex Bagley'. Subsequently to Frank Scott (Racine, WI) for sale AW 9 Oct 1976 p27 B27 'ex Jaussaud, 8 races from new' and 31 Mar 1978 p39. Sold to Richard Ellingson and used in Mid West SCCA until 1980. Then to an autocrosser and subsequently to Paul Berg. Owned by Bob Dupré (USA) 1985 and said to have been written off at Road America that year.
.Lola T360 [HU9] (Bobby Rahal): Paperwork supplied by Bobby Rahal plus the logbook gives the full history of this car. Ordered from Lola 17 Oct 1974, after a visit to the factory. Haas order number 36005 17 Oct 1974 for Rahal. Consigned by Lola to Haas 26 Nov 1974, colour red, rolling chassis with Hewland FT200/975. Invoiced by Haas to Rahal 6 Jan 1975, invoice number 8888, chassis number on both Haas invoice and Lola data sheet; gearbox number on data sheet and Lola sales record. Probably unique amongst T360s in that the brakes were originally fitted with four-pot Lockheed calipers (at Rahal's specification on order number 36005R) rather than Girling AR4. Bill of sale shows that the car was sold to George Herscher (Charleston, WV) 24 Jan 1976 with engine, spares and trailer; chassis number on bill of sale. This confirms the record of vehicle ownership in the logbook that accompanies the car. Herscher used the car in SCCA NE and SE divisions, replacing his Lola T240, whilst at the same time advertising it in Autoweek throughout much of 1976. Returned to Carl Haas in May 1977 and sold by him to Paul Kelleher in October 1977. Kelleher was a Cen Div SCCA driver, having previously raced in FC, but does not score points at national level in the period when he owns the car. Sold by Kelleher to Art Filip (Chicago) in March 1979 and raced in SCCA Cen Div. Retained by Filip until May 1989, then to Dennis Tobin, before being returned to Haas in February 1990. Sold almost immediately to Carl Thompson, who retained the car until February 2000 when Rahal bought it back. Retained by Rahal until sold late 2012 via Grand Prix Classics (La Jolla, CA) to Steve Miller (Cape Town, South Africa).
.Lola T360 [HU12] (Tom Klausler): Consigned by Lola to Carl Haas 8 Apr 1975, colour white, against Haas order 36010. This order is shown in Haas records as being for Tom Klausler replacing HU2 that he drove in 1974. Klausler's highly successful car in the 1975 Players series. Unknown thereafter, but perhaps the T360 for sale in Autoweek 14 Aug 1976 p29 by Tom Price 'ex Klausler' 612 S.Own, Mt Prospect IL 60056 (but this could also be HU2).
.Lola T360 [HU21?] (David Westgate): Sold by Lola to Robert Joubert 28 May 1975 (white). Joubert took a two-car team to Canada for the Pro series, with cars for himself and Dave Walker. The team missed the first round at Westwood. At Edmonton, Autosport reporter Chris Waddell noted that Joubert was using his T350 F3 car (T350 HU1), adapted for Atlantic, whilst Walker's car was brand new, not having turned a wheel. Since HU21 is the only car invoiced around this date, to Joubert, and almost all other T360s can be accounted for, it seems safe to conclude that HU21 was Walker's car for most of the Canadian season. The one race where there may be some doubt is Trois Rivieres - where Joubert does not appear, but Jacques Desjardins appears in a T360 with a Nicholson engine (the Joubert team was unique amongst T360 users in running Nicholsons). It is not clear yet if Desjardins definitely had one of Joubert's cars, and if he did, whether it was T360 HU21 or T350 HU1. Desjardins reappears in a T360 in early 1976, presumably the same car.
.March 75B [10?] (Craig Hill): A car raced by Craig Hill for Ecurie Canada. Ecurie Canada took delivery of two cars according to March records, a yellow 75B-5 and a white 75B-10, and had two drivers, Bertil Roos who raced a yellow 75B and Hill who raced a white one. On that basis, Hill's car would be 75B-10.
.March 75B [6?] (Chip Mead): Chip Mead (Dayton, OH) raced a red #17 March 75B as part of the Doug Shierson Racing team in 1975 with backing from Zonin wines. Only one red 75B appears in March records, suggesting Mead's car was chassis 75B-6.
.Chevron B29 [29-75-16] (Bill Brack): Sold via US agent Fred Opert to multiple Canadian champion Bill Brack (Toronto, Ontario) and raced through 1975 in STP colours. Won at Halifax in August and at Brainerd in September. Sold to Brad Abbott (Messapequa, NY) for 1976 and only raced twice, both times in SCCA events, scoring a win and a third place according to his later advert. As he did not score points in NEDiv FB in 1976, these were presumably regional events. Abbott then bought a new March 77B and the Chevron was sold to John Galson who raced it in SCCA events in 1977 and 1978.
.March 75B [73B?] (Patrick Depailler): Roy Folland (Montréal, Quebec) had a purple #6 March 73B for 1973 but crashed at Trois-Rivières in Sept and after being repaired, the 73B was sold to Ecurie Canada for guest driver Eppie Wietzes to race at the Watkins Glen Pro FB race five weeks later. Then sold to Tim Cooper (Kansas City, MO) who raced the "ex-Ecurie Canada" 73B at a Willow Springs Regional in Dec 1973. Raced extensively in SCCA racing early in 1974 and then in the Pro F/Atlantic series, prepared by Charlie Williams Racing. Probably then the "75B" that Cooper raced as part of Doug Shierson Racing in 1975; maybe the 75B/76B that Wilbur Bunce ran for him in 1976, and possibly the self-entered 77B he had in early 1977. Might then be the ex-Cooper March "75B" later entered by Ted Titmus in 1978 and 1979. The latter years of this history become less likely and we're very keen to talk to Tim Cooper.
.Lola T360 [HU21?] (Jacques Desjardins): Sold by Lola to Robert Joubert 28 May 1975 (white). Desjardins reappears in a T360 in early 1976, presumably the same car.
.Lola T360 [HU16] (Tom Gloy): Sold to Pierre Phillips, 12 Mar 1975, colour black. Haas order 36009. The colour and consignee suggests that this is the car used throughout 1975 by Tom Gloy with backing from Hanna International. Gloy advised in 2008 that the car was sold to a Californian driver, most likely Phil Threshie or Larry Bergman.
.March 712M [71BM-10] (Mauro Lanaro): One of two red March 71BMs acquired by Wilson Southam for Canadian FB and believed to be the car raced by Southam. Southam's operation was bought by Ecurie Canada and its mechanic Tom Greatorex for 1972 and this is the car believed to have been updated to side-radiator 722 specification and rented by Ian Coristine that season. Coristine stayed with the team for 1972 but the car was put back to 71BM specification. Then to Mauro Lanaro for 1974 and retained for a total of four seasons in Canadian FB and F/Atlantic. Coristine recalls that this car destroyed in a transporter fire on its was to a race at Debert.
.March 75B [73B?] (Tim Cooper): Roy Folland (Montréal, Quebec) had a purple #6 March 73B for 1973 but crashed at Trois-Rivières in Sept and after being repaired, the 73B was sold to Ecurie Canada for guest driver Eppie Wietzes to race at the Watkins Glen Pro FB race five weeks later. The latter years of this history become less likely and we're very keen to talk to Tim Cooper.
.March 75B [8?] (Cliff Hansen): Syd Demovsky (Chicago, IL) started 1975 in a Doug Shierson Racing March 75B but left the team after two races. This is probably the #9 car hired by DSR to Ian Grob for Mont-Tremblant 06 Jul 1975 but he failed to qualify, after which it was sold to Cliff Hansen (Laguna Beach, CA) who drove it at that race instead of his usual GRD. Retained by Hansen in 1976 as a spare to his new 76B. Sold to Mike Downs (El Segundo, CA) early October 1976 when the invoice identified it as 75B-8. Used by three later owners in west coast SCCA racing.
