Re: Cars Wishlist
I already made a livery for this car, and put it on a Ferrari 375, the car that imo looks most like the car in question:
Unfortunately, when in game, it looks like this:
Can anybody help me with this?" />

BTW, the 212 in oval is a mark of nowadays historical car, but was not present on the picture of the year 1951

Thank you for the info. When looking closer through the entry list I also realized that Ecurie Espadon didn't use the number 12, but several different start numbers, f.i 38 in the Swiss GP. So, I'll have to remove the oval and change the number from 12 to 38. The livery was a rather quick job, based on the factory liveries and the pictures, but that 212 was softly put not in original state

Re: Cars Wishlist
I think that you could do all race number it had, as long as you have the original template, this will be cleaner then letting someone else do other versions for a race by race issue.
Re: Cars Wishlist
I could potentially have a look at fixing the car's position (which would require the original car and the new skin), BUT, I do not have the right mod (my install starts at 1970 and continues from there). If this is part of that huge VB mega-mod, then I'm going to have to pass, as i'm not downloading 120GB for one year.

Test with this file:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/s79d7949919vubl/1951_Ferrari_375.rar
then creates a new veh file, example Fischer_Ferrari_375.veh
- Fischer_Ferrari_375.veh:
- DefaultLivery="Fischer"
PitCrewLivery="Ferrari"
HDVehicle=Ferrari_375.hdv
Graphics=Ferrari_375.gen
GenString=FE12GPXA
Sounds=f1sounds.sfx
HeadPhysics=HeadPhysics.ini
Eyepoint=(0.0,0.95, 0.50)
CameraTarget=(0.000, 0.80, 0.50)
Number=38
Team=Ferrari_375
Driver="Rudi Fischer"
Description="Ferrari_375
Engine="Ferrari"
Manufacturer="Ferrari_375"
Classes="FormulaOne, OpenWheel, F1_1950S"
FullTeamName="Scuderia Ferrari"
TeamFounded=1950
TeamHeadquarters="Italy"
TeamStarts=1759
TeamPoles=201
TeamWins=214
TeamWorldChampionships=22
put in the 1951_Ferrari_375 folder your new livery (Fischer.bmp) with the race number 38 (1951 Swiss), and new file "Fischer_Ferrari_375Icon.bmp"...
It should work...

Re: Cars Wishlist
We have a working Ecurie Espadon Ferrari for the 1951 Swiss GP!
Now I will try to adapt the hdv file so it will no longer behave like a 375, and there is some kind of difference between the 375 and '212' (though it's still a 375 graphically), but I've never done this before, so I won't promise it'll work.
