the pit entry of the donington park circuit with the rules of pit speed limit in 1993 season makes the corner a shortcut, which makes more convenient to go through that section rather than through the last corner of the circuit

the original 1993 donington pit entry by dmarques it more convenient but less realistic

what should it be?

a) left donington park circuit pit entry as it is
b) put the real pit entry
c) put the real pit entry but with a speed limiter

the three options are unrealistic. first is exploitable, second isn't the realistic entry and the third hasn't a speed limiter. choose your poison

Can it do as in reality? So entering the boxes as it was in 1993?

I think it would be the best choice.

the problem: in race, you will go faster going through the boxes rather than on the normal track layout. the pits works as a shortcut in this case. in fact, senna got the fastest lap in this race going through boxes without stopping at racing speed

is the most realistic, but it breaks the game

Yeah I understand what you mean,

In my point of view, I think it’s better to make it as it was in 1993 because if It was a problem in real (like Senna fastest lap) it should be the same in the game,
I think the most « realistic » is to put the pit entry before the corner as it was in 1993, but with a pit limiter in order to not « crack » the game, like for the qualy, to not make the best lap by entering in the pit.
If someone wants to take off the pit limiter, he will be able to do that by modifying manually the file.

Just my point of view, Wink

Thanks!

I think the same! We must try to make it as realistic as possible. I also hope to see the Hockenheim pitlane chicane one day as it was in the 90s. Very Happy

so, option 3... gotcha

put a speed limited. I will use 80 for qualifying AND 120 for race. I want to avoid stupid default races with the player entering the pits every lap. Multiplayer could be much worse.

done long ago

the remaining circuits are these:
https://wookey.forumotion.com/t1503-tracks-request

if you can help doing some of these with zModeler and 3DSimed, please help

Hockenheim 1981 is the only Hockenheim remaining. iif you can convert the track to rfactor and then create an AIW from scratch, that would be perfect

you can find development tools and tutorials here:

3DSimed: http://sim-garage.co.uk/3dsimed3-download/
zModeler: https://gamebanana.com/tools/6404

Don't stand! Watching is nice, but doing is better! Help us if you can! No matter if it is me or DavidMarques

I know the zmodeler in the maire well, I used this program to modify the tracks. Here are my modifications for the 1995 season.

I chose everything from magny-Cours by default

what...

you know... how to do pit mechanic suits...?

because that is one of our main tasks in CMT! We have reworked all 1988 - 2020 suits, but only 1950 - 1987 suits are left. 1950 - 1967 consists of 67 suits, more or less... but the hard part comes from 1968 - 1986.

if you can do that, Sergio could work entirely on the new ekstrom car, and the 2020 race by race

would you like to help? i have all the photos of mechanic suits from 1950 to 1987

thank you for all you shared
