Several sites identified this image as "Alberto Ascari (Monaco 1955)", so I thought it was right.
I checked again and found another site identifying the image as Juan Manuel Fangio in a Ferrari D50, 1956.
Is that right?

just look at the side tanks. In 1955 they was attached zo the body, in 1956 they was a part of the body.
