Hunt's car does not look to suffer any damage! I have read somewhere that after the race mechanics checked the car and there was nothing that would make impossible to drive McLaren No. 11! He should rather drive further than threaten with fist...
Lauda said after the race that he saw the incident and it was Hunt's fault...

Most probably they solved the matter later in the day over a a couple of beers and few Gauloises... Different times when sex was safe and driving was dangerous.
Today the journalists would go on forever in useless bla bla. FIA would ban Hunt for x amount of races and the fans will be deprived of one of the most interesting battle for the championship in F1 history.

As I remember, later in Canada in the practice a bolt or nut from Hunt's car hit Patrick's P34 so he came in McLaren pit and told Hunt: "James, I know You don't like me but please don't throw the bolts on me! And then in the race they made a fantastic duel for victory... wonderful times!

I agree with You - now the jury would penalty Patrick for unsafe defending manouver and James for hazardous action ...

Rigid rules and penalties kill the atmosphere of driving...
