... and what did You mean with this:

"He never reached his time set with 007"

I undrestood it as good as he reached qualification time not with 007 but with 006...

It means he was not faster with 006 than he was with 007 in first practice......

Re: Tyrrell P34 tests in Spain:
There were at least 3 versions of the air "trunks" - intakes there during the tests, practices and (or) qualification:

1/ black air intake

2/ Black air intake with the rear part prolonged to rear wing. The car was also tested with nose without elf sticker but with yellow number 4
   there and bigger elf sticker on the front part of the cockpit cover.

3/ blue air intake with yellow stripes and elf stickers

Looks like the air intake was not effective as the Tyrrell team never used it in the race. In the next race in Belgium the team used other shape of air intake and for the rest of season the monoposts were used without air intakes...

The air intake was used in practice in Sweden but the 1-2 victory of P-34s was claimed without the air intakes...

Re: Sweden - good question! I also have only the photo of Scheckter's car with airbox from there but look at the photo I uploaded - the airbox is placed in the box room of Patrick's car (please see the wooden fence behind Jody)...
