Adelaide88 night version - Released, but not finished
Hello, everybody!
Let's start this topic with some photos:
Beta version of night Adelaide.
As you can see, I have the intention to release a night version of Adelaide.
I can do everything (better IA, gdb, darker textures...) but lods and functional streetlights.
If you want to help to this project by doing streetlights and/or lods, please, contact me.
(I want to release this circuit before other two circuits that are still WIP.)
Kind regards,
Cristian

The races in the evening require the presence of shadows, a factor that is never used in F1C.
In the photographs, # 5 and # 7 they notice the piles of night light that are OFF despite the darkness.
Anyone who has witnessed the boring F1 night racing, he realized how much light is poured on the asphalt due to the lack of lights on racing cars.

Night tracks are never going to be perfect in F1C, either it's ineffective or looks like a Scalextric track.
Have any night tracks attempted to make use of the fog effects? I'm not even sure they're available in dry conditions however.

I tested with fog in Adelaide88 circuit and... well, they are available in dry conditions, but as you say, it's ineffective.
The best way for me is doing first the streetlights. Then... time to make the bmp files darker.

Cristian

Yeah. That's the main issue, De LaCrowe.

Adelaide Parklands Circuit (Night Version) released
Well.
Here it is:

Again: the whole project is not finished. Suggestions, ideas and comments are welcomed.
If someone knows about editing 3d models positions and sponsors textures, please, collaborate to this cause. Maybe the circuit looks too illuminated because of the sponsors, rumbles, tyrewalls and walls textures, but don't worry.
It can be done better. That's why I am requesting help again; some of you can do the rest better than me. I have done the hardest part.
Kind regards,
Cristian
