SOS. string of CTD Empty SOS. string of CTD

Post by McLeod Thu 22 Oct - 12:03

Hi F1C friends.

I'm totally blocked since I tried to race a 1967 car from 1960S mod into F1Seven.

Thereafter, I erased the vehicle folder and replace it with a save, but whatever race I try, whatever car I choose, I have a CTD that occurs at the very moment when the track achieves to load.

Unfortunately, there is nothing in the trace that may explain this.

I tried to empty the hat folder in the log folder, but it did not change anything.

Do you ever experienced this ? Any hint on how to recover?

Thanks in advance

Ugh...

Gaussian elimination... that could be anything about 3d model.

My recommendation is to play 1967 mod in a clean F1C install. If that works, then, make a copy of your original F1 Seven folder, and install 1967 mod "piece by piece". For example, adding only one 1967 car, with its cmaps.mas, cdb.mas, logomap.mas, etc. And see if it works on a isolated folder. Then, integrate it carefully with your other mods.

Or maybe, try to reinstall all F1 Seven mods on a copy of your original F17 folder.

Sorry for this pitiful answer; is a matter of trial and error if the debugger doesn't diagnoses nothing.

Regards,
Cristian

Thanks both of you.
My game is similar to Lee's.
The problem is it still CTD when I play with any other Mod or season. Game loads well. I can choose whatever season or race, any car I want, any track correctly filtered. Then when I launch, the track loads entirely the Lod2.jpg appears at top and.... CTD !

Is there some cache I should clean, other then the LOG/Hat folder?

I had a similar problem several times. I had to redo all the installation from zero. I's loe to get a better answer too. MM specialists?
