1951-1954 mods by Luigi70 and Cherry | Proposal

Hi both of you!

Cherry contacted me some days ago bout helping in CMT. When Cherry told me that in a future he will have free time to dedicate in F1C, I had a vision:

Cherry and Luigi70 working together in 1951-1954 F1 seasons. I believe you both are extremely proficient in creating cars from scratch.

What do you think about the idea of working together to do these mods from 2021 onward?

i will do my best for resurrect CMT. the objective is clear: doing all 1950-2020 standalone seasons with realistic physics and competent AI that doesn't do CTD, crashes or off-tracks regardless of the difficulty

I'm in too

I want to contribute as long as possible.

Well guys, as I said earlier now I'm in stand-by mode , but my next goal could be the 1959 season .
There are other users who can contribute to the development of the mods, for example:
- slowin74 for the skins and the graphics works;
- F1Cfan1804 for the skill files for the drivers (together with Valpaso for sure).
Usually in the mods from 55 to 58' seasons  I did almost everything by myself (including physics) but I must say that this is hard and tiring work  ...
So it's welcome a help from other users   ...
We could start right with the 1959 season, if we all agree  ..
Maybe Philippe can create a private section where only team members can access and share their progress    ...

However, I agree on this initiative   ..

Edge has the RCD files done. In fact, CMT has all the drivers from 1950-2020 finished, as well as all the track lods (but not in F17 style).

Carlos cannot help with the physics. He is doing 1999-2016 seasons. But he momentarily will arrive.

Alfredo can get the job in AIWs, as long as you can create them from scratch and tell him the maximum number of drivers in X season.

P.D.: Is a pity the development and release will be in closed doors, but understandable.

Indeed. For some drivers i tweaked previous .rcd files (just matter to correct historic data as well as some driver stats), for some others i made from scratch (i included Indy 500 drivers and non-qualifiers too).

Now I have no time to do it because I have another projects for AC and rF2. but in future i will want to be back f1c work I can't say for sure when that's going to happen.
But when I will be back to F1c work again, It would be great to collaborate with the F1c Maestro such as Luigi 70 or neiln

CMT will try to do 1950-2020 as best as they can, trying to resurrect if possible after August.

I am starting work on 1951 season race by race, I am just about finished my first car, not overly experienced but I think I am getting better with time. I was going to start a new post for my work with it but I can use this area if preferred.
