HUD, overlays flickering

hi everyone,

I managed to get F1C stable for a change, but I get this flickering in the hud, overlay and pit menu:

Hmm, I've seen a lot of strange things & glitches with this game in my time.

This, however, is something I haven't experienced yet.

I had never seen this type of error before.
Suggestion: exchange the hud for the original F1C, maybe it will do.

I know, it was odd for me to see it too :\

Do you mean changing the tga for the hud overlay? I don't think it would help, this flickering is happening in the broadcast overlays and the pit menu as well, it seems to be a general issue with overlaying information.

I will run some more tests with a dx9 dll or with dgVoodoo, to see if it still behaves like that.

hi everyone,

Necroing this thread, in case someone else has come across it. I have only seen a couple of other mentions for this issue, and for one of them they mentioned the same GPU I have - 5700XT

Quick update for any other AMD users who come across this issue. Updating my Radeon driver to 22.3.1 solved it, the HUD and overlays don't flicker anymore
