Reduce polygon count of a F1C vehicle 3D model (HELP!)
Hi everyone.
Anyone could tell me what application (3DS Max, 3D Simed, zModeler, etc.) do you use for reduce the number of polygons in a F1C car, and what steps you have to do?

After making a sports car, it is good practice to make copies with fewer polygons so as not to weigh the graphics engine of the game.
Those using the 3ds max software can use a feature in the program to generate copies of cars with smaller polygons, otherwise Milkshare software exists to solve this problem. The disadvantage of this software consists of several conversion steps to get a car to smaller polygons, what does not happen for 3ds max

I have 3DS Max 7. Very old, but I think is quite useful for F1C.
What version do you recommend me, and what steps I need to do? What is that feature exactly?
F1 Challenge '99-'02 3D cars were modelled with 3DS Max version 3.

Each software has a guide in which you can control the various functions of the program so it is good to read what your software can do.
